Pixar have pulled it out of the bag again. I finally got round to seeing Wall-E last night. The imagination and attention to the most minute detail is extraordinary.
The story starts with a little robot and his cockroach friend ambling around picking up trash. Wall-E is a hoarder. His house come truck is filled with all sorts of ‘useless’ junk. Then, after a space ship lands, a sparkling new female robot appears and Wall-E is in love.
The story continues on a journey through space with Wall-E chasing his new love ‘Eve’ whilst she delivers a small sample of life to the fat lazy ‘humans’ aboard the space station. The humans are not unlike the ‘Incredibles’ in design, but they are amusing none the less.
The film ends with….well, see for yourself if you haven’t already. But I certainly wanted to see more as the credits passed by.
